The first step towards the realization of TEDxArta was taken with the inaugural online meeting of the organizing team and volunteers who will contribute to the organization of the first TEDx event in the city of Arta.
The meeting brought together members of the team who share the same vision: to create an event that will showcase ideas, people, and initiatives that are worth spreading.
Approximately 35 members participated in this first meeting, where they had the opportunity to get to know each other and take the first steps towards collaboration.
During the meeting, the philosophy of TED and TEDx events was presented, a global institution that brings together people from different backgrounds with the aim of spreading ideas that can inspire and create positive change in societies.
Participants got to know the TEDxArta Core Team and the structure of the organizing team.
The key parts of the organization were presented from curating the talks and production to communication and managing the audience experience as well as how the teams work together to prepare for the event.
This first meeting marked the beginning of a collective effort that will evolve over the coming months, with the aim of creating a unique experience for the city of Arta, bringing to the fore new ideas, innovative approaches, and human stories that deserve to be heard.
With enthusiasm, creativity, and collaboration, the TEDxArta team is embarking on a journey to turn ideas into reality.
