About TED
TED is a nonprofit organization devoted to ideas worth spreading. Started as a four-day conference in California 30 years ago, TED has grown to support its mission with multiple initiatives around the globe. TED speakers have included scientists, artists, entrepreneurs and global leaders.
What is TEDx?
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxArta, where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDxArta event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.

TEDxArta is a locally organized event that brings our community together around ideas worth spreading. Through inspiring talks and meaningful conversations, we aim to spark curiosity, creativity, and connection.
